Uncle Best Fried Chicken (Uncle Best Mart HQ) (“Uncle Best”, “we”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit unclebest.com.my or contact us, how we use it, and your rights under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Act 709).
In short: this website does not store what you type in the contact form, because the form only opens WhatsApp. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. We do not sell your personal data.
1. Personal data we collect
Information you give us
When you contact us through the contact form, WhatsApp or phone, we receive the information you share, such as:
- your name;
- your phone or WhatsApp number;
- the subject and content of your message, including order details or interest in a business opportunity;
- any other information you choose to share, for example your business location or budget.
The contact form on this site does not store any information on our website. When you press “Send via WhatsApp”, the form opens WhatsApp with your message filled in, and the message only reaches us when you press send in WhatsApp.
Information collected automatically
- Google Analytics records the pages you visit, when you visit, your device and browser type, your approximate location (city or country) and how you arrived at the site. It also records when you tap a WhatsApp or phone button, or submit the contact form, together with the subject you chose. Your name, phone number and message are not sent to Google Analytics.
- Server logs. Our hosting and CDN provider records your IP address, browser, the pages requested and the time of each request, to run and protect the site.
2. Why we use your data
We use your personal data to:
- reply to your enquiries and handle orders, bulk orders or catering;
- assess and handle enquiries about business opportunities, including packages, training and product supply;
- provide after-sales service and information about our products;
- understand how this website is used so that we can improve it;
- keep the website secure and prevent misuse;
- comply with legal requirements.
We will only send you promotional messages if you agree, and you can ask us to stop at any time.
3. Do you have to give us your data?
No. Giving us personal data is voluntary. However, we need at least your name and a way to reach you so that we can reply. Without that information, we may not be able to help you.

The Contact Us page also shows a Google Maps map. When the map loads, Google may set its own cookies under Google’s privacy policy.
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. The site still works without Google Analytics cookies.
5. Who we share your data with
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We only share it with:
- service providers that help us run the website and our communications, namely Hostinger (web hosting and CDN), Google (Google Analytics, Google Fonts and Google Maps) and WhatsApp (Meta) for messages you send through WhatsApp;
- Uncle Best outlets or business partners, where needed to handle your enquiry, for example an order in your area;
- authorities or our professional advisers, where required or permitted by law.
These providers process data under their own privacy policies, for example those of Google and WhatsApp.
6. Transfers outside Malaysia
Some of our service providers, such as Google and Meta, may store or process data outside Malaysia. We use providers that have appropriate data protection safeguards in place.
7. Keeping your data secure
This site uses encrypted HTTPS connections, and access to the website’s administration is limited to authorised staff. WhatsApp messages are protected by WhatsApp’s end-to-end encryption. While we take reasonable steps, no transmission over the internet is completely secure.
If a data breach affects your personal data, we will notify the authorities and you as required by law.
8. How long we keep your data
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for, including any period required by law. After that, it is deleted or made anonymous. Google Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in our Google Analytics account.
9. Your rights
Under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010, you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you and get a copy of it;
- ask us to correct data that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date;
- withdraw your consent to our processing of your data;
- ask us to stop using your data for direct marketing.
To make a request, contact us using the details in section 13. We may need to verify your identity first, and we will reply within 21 days as the Act requires.
10. Children
This site is not intended for children under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
11. Links to other sites
This site links to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp and Google Maps. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows the latest revision. If the Malay and English versions differ, the Malay version prevails.
